Chrome extension
“Dodano — add to specification”: a product from an open shop page goes into the project specification in one click.
What the extension can do
- Click the D icon on the product page, then “Add this product” — the extension detects the name, price, photo, supplier, product code and brand.
- Select a project and room, check the draft and save the item.
- The "Add to specification" option in the right-click menu works for a page, selected text, image or link.
- Buttons on the page: enable "Buttons on {site}" in the extension window — the "+ Add to project" button will appear on this shop’s product cards, and "Add to project" on the product page. You can disable this at any time; buttons on all sites are enabled in the extension settings.
- It also works on sites that block automatic loading: your browser reads the page.
- If the shop blocks the Dodano server, a “Fetch via the extension” button appears in the add-item window opened from the link: your browser loads the page and the draft is filled in as usual.
Installation
Coming soon to the Chrome Web Store
For now, you can install the extension manually:
- Download the extension archive and unpack it into a separate folder.
- Open chrome://extensions and enable "Developer mode" (top right).
- Click "Load unpacked" and select the unpacked folder.
- The “Dodano for Chrome” page will open — complete three steps: connect your account, allow the extension to work on shop sites and enable buttons on the required site.
- Pin the D icon to the toolbar.
Google Chrome 116 or later is required.
Connect to your account
Connect with one click:
- Click the D icon on the toolbar and “Connect Dodano”. Chrome may ask for access to the Dodano address — allow it: the site uses it to pass the connection to the extension.
- On the Dodano page that opens, click “Connect” (sign in if required). Done — you do not need to copy the token.
Own server or manual connection: create a token in "Settings" → "Chrome extension" and paste it in the extension settings → "Own server".
Privacy
The extension sends the page only after you click — the icon, a button on the page or “Fetch via the extension” in Dodano — and only to your Dodano server. The token is stored locally in your browser. No analytics or background data collection.
